Since the beginning of the year, The Pexion Group has begun investing heavily in carefully selected precision manufacturing capability, with Drurys seeing the first installation of a new Quaser MV184E.
The vertical milling machine is the latest machine tool investment, that has enabled Drurys to replace two older machine tools. The 1,200mm x 600mm table size, coupled with both rapid movement and improved spindle speed will provide flexibility and higher levels of production efficiency to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
Supplied by the Engineering Technology Group (ETG), The Quaser MV184E will be dedicated to the machining of components supplied to a number of market sectors including aerospace and electronics.
